I felt better today... I really love my friends more than anything... If we are not in good terms... I'll feel so much pain.. deeper than the pain caused by a heart-break caused by a guy...

Whose fault is it?

Is it my fault? Or is it their's? I don't know... maybe... it is really mine... If it isn't why am I feeling this way... This hatred for myself... I'm dying because of this undeniable agony which this phenomenon caused me. I didn't even know the exact etiology of this problem. I really don't! That's what make it worst... And my pride... damn this pride!!! I really don't know what is wrong or when will this stop... I hope... It won't last long...

So what is the purpose of Campus Journalism Act of 1991?

I cannot stand that certain person. Well she disrespected our News Organization. Calling us names... That's pretty rude, an unprofessional act. She called her self a professional? P-le-a-se!!! Don't make me laugh! Well my fellow campus journalists, it is not right to let such things happen. Fight for your rights! There is a law which protects us. If you knew that they've done something wrong, speak up! Write! You are free to do so! I've included the whole sections of R.A. 7079 or the Campus Journalism Act of 1991. Read it and then tell me that I'm wrong in feeling this way...

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7079

.

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF CAMPUS JOURNALISM AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

Section 1. Title. — This Act shall be known and referred to as the "Campus Journalism Act of 1991."

Sec. 2. Declaration of Policy. — It is the declared policy of the State to uphold and protect the freedom of the press even at the campus level and to promote the development and growth of campus journalism as a means of strengthening ethical values, encouraging critical and creative thinking, and developing moral character and personal discipline of the Filipino youth. In furtherance of this policy, the State shall undertake various programs and projects aimed at improving the journalistic skills of students’ concerned and promoting responsible and free journalism.

Sec. 3. Definition of Terms. —

(a) School. — An institution for learning in the elementary, secondary or tertiary level comprised of the studentry, administration, faculty and non-faculty personnel;

(b) Student Publication. — The issue of any printed material that is independently published by, and which meets the needs and interests of, the studentry;

(c) Student Journalist. — Any bona fide student enrolled for the current semester or term, who was passed or met the qualification and standards of the editorial board.He must likewise maintain a satisfactory academic standing.

(d) Editorial Board. — In the tertiary level, the editorial board shall be composed of student journalists who have qualified in placement examinations. In the case of elementary and high school levels, the editorial board shall be composed of a duly appointed faculty adviser, the editor who qualified and a representative of the Parents-Teachers' Association, who will determine the editorial policies to be implemented by the editor and staff members of the student publication concerned.

At the tertiary level, the editorial board may include a publication adviser at the option of its members.

(e) Editorial Policies. — A set of guidelines by which a student publication is operated and managed, taking into account pertinent laws as well as the school administration's policies. Said guidelines shall determine the frequency of the publication, the manner of selecting articles and features and other similar matters.

Sec. 4. Student Publication. — A student publication is published by the student body through an editorial board and publication staff composed of students selected but fair and competitive examinations.

Once the publication is established, its editorial board shall freely determine its editorial policies and manage the publication's funds.

Sec. 5. Funding of Student Publication. — Funding for the student publication may include the savings of the respective school's appropriations, student subscriptions, donations, and other sources of funds.

In no instance shall the Department of Education, Culture and Sports or the school administration concerned withhold the release of funds sourced from the savings of the appropriations of the respective schools and other sources intended for the student publication. Subscription fees collected by the school administration shall be released automatically to the student publication concerned.

Sec. 6. Publication Adviser. — The publication adviser shall be selected by the school administration from a list of recommendees submitted by the publication staff. The function of the adviser shall be limited to one of technical guidance.

Sec. 7. Security of Tenure. — A member of the publication staff must maintain his or her status as student in order to retain membership in the publication staff. A student shall not be expelled or suspended solely on the basis of articles he or she has written, or on the basis of the performance of his or her duties in the student publication.

Sec. 8. Press Conferences and Training Seminar. — The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall sponsor periodic competitions, press conferences and training seminars in which student-editors/writers and teacher-adviser of student publications in the elementary, secondary and tertiary levels shall participate. Such competitions, conferences and seminars shall be held at the institutional, divisional, and regional levels, culminating with the holding of the annual national elementary, secondary or tertiary School Press Conferences in places of historical and/or cultural interest in the country.

Sec. 9. Rules and Regulations. — The Department of Education, Culture and Sports, in coordination with the officers of the national elementary, secondary or tertiary organizations or official advisers of student publications, together with student journalists at the tertiary level and existing organizations of student journalists, shall promulgate the rules and regulations necessary for the effective implementation of this Act.

Sec. 10. Tax Exemption. — Pursuant to paragraph 4, Section 4, Article XIV of the Constitution, all grants, endowments, donations, or contributions used actually, directly and exclusively for the promotion of campus journalism as provided for in this Act shall be exempt from donor's or gift tax.

Sec. 11. Appropriations. — For the initial year of implementation, the sum of Five million pesos (P5,000,000.00) is hereby authorized to be charged against the savings from the current appropriations of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports. Thereafter, such amount as may be necessary shall be included in the General Appropriations Act.

Sec. 12. Effectivity. — This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation.

PS: See... It is very clear! Again I would like to say that she had no rights to embarrass our News Organization in front of the whole Allied course. License? We don't need one, we already passed the qualification exams which is indicated. There is no need for any license for us to practice journalism inside our University.

Ok this is unexpected, I mean in a sense that I thought Sakura will be mushy or something... and attacks Sasuke even thought it seems worthless... But it doesn't went out that way. And Karin's memory (or Flash back)... When did that happened? hehe... So she had a connection with Sasuke when they are younger as well... wahaha... Well I don't know... Maybe it is shown in the other chapters, I just failed to read it since I am not a "chapter-by-chapter" type. Hehehe... Maybe because I'm quite busy these days... hehehe...

Short Story: Philophobia

(Fear of Falling in love)

Loathing eyes, looking, staring. When will this end? Sydnea Romirez asked as she move swiftly out of the open pavement into their home where there is no more people that could see her ugly face. Sydnea went straight to the comfort room, washed her face with the newest facial wash that her mother gave her. After rinsing all the lather from her face, she slowly raised her head, her eyes slowly became fixed with her reflection in the mirror. She felt a shudder starting from the base of her spine, upward. The face staring straight into her eyes, the face, a very horrible face! Ugly... too much ugliness! She abhorred it. She grab the mirror and throw it towards the wall. She retreated towards her room, crying, burying herself underneath her blue colored blanket.
Cacophobia, fear of ugliness, a condition that most people suffered from, however, Sydnea's experiencing the extreme form of phobia. Lately she even developed spectrophobia, or the fear of someone's reflection in the mirror. She is afraid because she doesn't want to see her ugly face. In reality, Sydnea Romirez wasn't ugly, she's pretty, but she wasn't aware of that. Ever since Renz Guitterez throw her love letter into the trash saying that the one who gave him the letter was "monstrous" and an "ugly pig", Sydnea lost her confidence. As years passed, she developed her phobia.

Mrs. Romirez staired at the 5th mirror that was shuttered for this month. After Sydnea's high school graduation, she acted weirder and weirder everyday. Her obsession in beauty products becomes more severe. She keeps asking her mother to buy different things, because if not she'll remain ugly. At first, Mrs. Romirez inferred that this is just due to the increasing demand of beauty products in teenage years. A normal reaction of a youth. However, the events she is seeing now is definitely not normal. No normal teenage girl will act this way. Not as extreme as this.

The door bell rang frantically outside. Sydnea doesn't want to check who the visitor was but she had no choice, nobody is home but herself. She hide her anguish and gathered herself as she stood at her feet. She slowly and grimly opened the door.
"What do you want?" she said without looking at the person standing outside.
"I'm sorry to bother you, but is this the house of Esmeralda Romirez?"

In the 21st century, wherein the world of modern technology and easy access search is idiosyncratic, it is easier to collect data and other information by using tools like the World Wide Web or the internet. However, not all people who surfs the net is able to find everything they wanted simply because they did not know where to search.

As an online wanderer, I would like to share some of the sites which I found interesting and helpful to us Medicine and Health Sciences students and they are as follows:

1. Online Music downloader (for MP3. MP4 etc.). 4shared.com is a site where you can download MP3s and other file types even without signing up in their site. It includes music from different genres, sung by local and foreign artists which could be downloaded in a matter of seconds, that’s why I highly recommend this site for music lovers. If the song you’re looking for is not available in 4shared, you can look for it at aimini.net. They offer free download of the music files, however, you need to sign up in their site first. But don’t worry, registration is free!

2. YouTube video downloader and converter. Are you fond of watching YouTube
and was hooked up with a video and wished to put it in you’re phone or iPod? Well, you can use sites like keepvid.com, vixy.net, and mediaconverter.org. Mediaconverter.
org also offers free online conversion of the videos from YouTube and other video sharing sites.

3. Arts. Do you have a talent and would like to share it to the whole world? Join in sites like deviantart.com and brooklynartproject.com and share your artistic skills. You can upload artworks, and even articles such as poems, short stories etc. so that other members can view and give comment to your work (and/or you can also pass these works of art in our office, and be a contributor!).

4. Online Photo and Video Editing. Most people would like to edit their pictures first before downloading it in social network sites like Facebook, Friendster etc. However most people can’t use nor has an access with Adobe Photoshop or other photo editing program. Well flauntR.com is the answer for their dilemma. However this program can only edit boarders and could put specific effects on the picture. It cannot hide blemishes and pimples. Jumpcut.com is a site where you can edit video timing, add sound effects and a lot more.

5. Paper works and Word File Download. As a student, I know we all have a hard time in doing our requirements on a daily basis. Scribd.com lets its members
download files which are useful to the creation of their project. These files are uploaded by other members, so you should check the validity of the files first. Electronic books (e-books) of different published books can also be downloaded at Scribd. Speaking of e-book, balajisebookworld.com is another site where you can download e-books (of HP series, Twilight Series, and etc.) for free.

6. Health. Are you a health conscious person? If your answer is yes, you can check out medmd.com. This is an essential site because it offers different articles that can help manage different diseases for men, women and children. They also offer online computation of your BMI. Websites like medicineweb.com and caloriesperhour.
com can also be used to calculate different health related facts such as the amount of calorie burned in a certain activity and more.

7. Religion. Tired of strenuous activities at school and at home? Well you can rest by reading inspirational articles by different people illustrating their experiences with God. Beliefnet.com is a site where you can read God’s words and different testimonials
of different members as they face life’s struggles with God’s help. Tlpn.org is a place in the web where you can get online prayer banners to be placed in your social network accounts and share with your friends via comment.

8. Jokes. The world is experiencing crises which is irreversible at this moment of time. Men compensate with this phenomenon by reading hilarious quotes or what we call jokes to alleviate their boredom and pain. Jokes.com and jokegallery.com are some of the best sites which offer jokes from different genres which will definitely
make your stomach ache with laughter.

9. Entertainment. Want to see the latest in the movie industry? Excited to see the upcoming movies’ trailers and the unforgettable lines of your favorite actors/actresses? Imdb.com is the site you should visit. If you are not satisfied with this site, try to check movie.com for more.

10. Technology. Popular gadget and game articles, newest gadgets and games, latest news about these gadgets and games are just some of the articles that you can view at geek.com. You can also check out this site for the estimated prices of the gadgets that you would like to buy.

Love versus Like

Act 1: Mr. S
On July 22, 2002, I met a boy; it was a very unusual meeting. I only saw him from afar, but I don’t know why, when my gaze landed on that boy’s eyes, time suddenly lost it’s meaning around me and this stranger. It was as if the crowd vanished around us. It’s like a reenactment of the events in the book of Genesis, in which only 2 persons are alive: Adam and Eve. However, because of a very young age, I wasn’t able to decipher that event as a love (or like??) at first sight. The truth is, even though I occasionally met up with him in pathways or canteens, I didn’t even try to ask someone about the identity of this mysterious boy. Well maybe because at that time, I had a classmate whom I am really fond of whom I described as my crush in my diary. Well during those years I only have crushes inside our classroom and I had never had a crush with someone I don’t know (not even his birth name), or so I believed.
Days and months passed but still, the identity of that boy was still kept unknown. My conscious mind seems not to care. However, I didn’t think that my unconscious does. I keep seeing him in my dreams. I can’t imagine how I had managed to hide the desire of my unknown side, the desire to know this boy’s name. And then finally, after a year or two I found out his name at last! Let us just hide him in the alias “Mr. S.” Well after that, I was so happy that I had known his name… without any assistance from anyone else. My views suddenly change. For the first time, I realize (and I finally admitted) that I had a crush on him! And it has been so long! I had told my clique about my feelings for that guy. They all supported me; however, I can’t still tell him how I feel. He is like a magnificent deer and I am a hunter. If the hunter comes close, even though he doesn’t have any bad intentions for the deer, the creature might run away. I don’t want him to go away. At that time, I can’t stand the thought of loosing him, even though he isn’t really mine. I remembered, shedding tears for this guy. At that time, I really thought I was in-love so I finally swallow my pride and tell him what I feel and sealed it in an envelope addressed to him. However, I didn’t have enough courage so I just hide under a code name. I don’t know what happened next. I was happy that he had learned about my feelings, but I’m devastated for I wasn’t courageous enough to tell him what I feel, face to face.
Then, their graduation comes. I was left in the campus, longing to see him again. The last year of highschool for me is like hell… without him.

Act 2: Mr. C
I’ve entered college, in the same University and course as of that of Mr. S. But, he is not the reason why I did that. I had dreamed to become a doctor and this Pre-Med course will help me to achieve that. So I tried my best to study, I even changed my aura. The shy, ordinary, avoidant highschool student becomes a loud, studious and histrionic college student. I even tend to forget about Mr. S, as I tend to become busy doing school works.
And that’s when fate suddenly took it’s wrong turn. On July 24, 2006, minutes before my first Prelim examination, my glances where transferred to the door which was left ajar by a guy who suddenly comes in. My head automatically moved toward that guy’s location. I didn’t know why, when I first saw him, I didn’t feel the time lost it meaning or that we are the only ones in the room, but I am sure I feel something. It is a feeling of admiration! It is because, even it’s the first time I laid my eyes on him, I can see in his aura that he is someone that you won’t be ashamed of being with. I like him since then.
Again, I didn’t tell anyone about that feeling that I felt. I didn’t even know that guy’s name. But when I passed by the bulletin board, a name catches my sight. As I read this name, I felt my heart palpitate so hard. I didn’t know why, that was weird, but I concluded that this might be the guy’s name. I called him by the second given name that I had seen listed in the bulletin, without any assurance that it was his real name (eg. The name is Juan Ponse Dela Cruz, I used the second name Ponse and not the first name Juan).
Eventually, I befriended this guy and soon we become classmates in one semester. That was my happiest semester in my college life. It is because I could see him everyday… hear his voice, be close to him and his clique, but the whim ended after the semester. We are not classmates anymore, and we would never be again. I tried to greet him, whenever we met each other in pathways, but sometimes… I don’t know why I just can’t. At that time I think my infatuation for this guy, was struggling for the next level.
And there was this girl. I heard she likes him. At first I don’t care because she doesn’t exist in my world. We become classmates but, we are just classmates and not friends; that was before! However, for my quest for the truth, I become close with that girl. I learned everything… the real thing between the two of them. A friend told me, that even Marriage could be destroyed so things such as M.U.s could be broken much faster. I laugh at that thought. Can I really do that? Can I hurt this girl whom, like me, falls in love with that same guy? And besides, as I watch that guy’s action… I realize that he also likes her. He isn’t just ready yet, for now! So fighting for a one-sided emotion like this is worthless. They both exist in my world now; I’m not rude to hurt them just because of my self-centeredness. And besides, I wonder who among the three of us would really get hurt: her, him or me?

Act 3: the Clash
I don’t know if I would tell Mr. C about my feelings. My feelings for him is different from Mr. S, I know that perfectly. These things bounce back and forth in my head causing pain. Mr. S started to show-up again. I like the idea that he is there and I could see him so I can forget about Mr. C. Funny because I could still feel the same emotions that I felt for Mr. S before, but I still become wounded by the face of Mr. C who haunts me wherever I go. I can’t really understand. Am I having a hard time to set Mr. C free because I need him or I love him that’s why I needed him so badly (Like in the movie Milan)? Do I really felt the same way for Mr. S or is this just my hypothesis because I could recall the feeling which I had perceived and felt from my previous experience, which is already stored in my subconscious (as explained in Richard Gregory’s top-down theory of perception)? Love versus like, it is really confusing. Well whoever I choose, it would just have the same outcome: a one-sided love! 

Movie to Watch: Naruto Shippuuden 3

Naruto Shippuuden Movie 3: Inheritors of the Will of Fire

(a.k.a. Naruto Movie 6 or Naruto Shippuuden Movie 3: Hi no Ishi o Tsugumono.)

This is a movie that I would like to watch. It is the 6th among the Naruto movies and is the 3rd among the Naruto Shippūden film. It was said that it is released in Japan on August 1, 2009. Up to the present I still can't find an english subtitled version of the movie, which is pretty sad actually :'( *sigh.

Sypnosis of the Movie

Kakashi run off his place with unknown conditions (Maybe it has something to do with Obito, I'm not that sure since I can't really understand the trailer since it is not english dubbed. hehehe), and Naruto together with all the Kohona 11 (Team 7, Team 8, Team 10, and Team Gai) tries to discover the real score behind Kakashi's sudden decision. In some of the teasers that I have read, it was said that they are going to face an enormous beast. There is also this tagline which says "the will of the Hokage will now be carried on by the youth of Konoha."

In Focus: Get Backers

At last! I had already finished watching all the episodes of Get backers for 3 days. (Imagine all those 49 episodes? That's a pretty marathon!!! hehehe). Well anyway, I really don't intend to buy the DVD because the anime that I really want to watch is DN ANgel. However due to the unclear copy of the DVD, I decided to go back to the vendor at Biñan bayan to ask for replacement, but, he said that the series was out of stock so he just asked me to chose another series. And that's why I was able to possess the GetBacker DVD!!!! Anyways, even though I already had the DVD for quite sometime, I was just able to watch it last thursday, September 11, 2008. I just watched the series for the entire day!!! waah!!! I finished upto episode 26. Then I continued watching last friday (Sept. 12, 2008) upto episode 36 and I eventually finished the series today before going to school. Good thing I wasn't late... hehehe (But I didn't study for our quiz in NCM!!! WAAH!!!)

1. Fuuchouin Kazuki
I really like this thread pole guy!!! (hehehe go Ban-chan!). He is the former leader of Fuuga and Jubei's best friend. He really looks like a girl so sometimes he has been misuderstood. Like in Episode 39 where the patients thought he was a nurse... His really cute and smart! He is good in gathering informations.

2. Makubex
The genius computer boy!He is one of the Four gods of Voltz under the Thunder emperor. He has become a nuisance in the series when he stole IL to make an atomic bomb. However, he returned back into his normal self and sworn to protect the infiltrite city.

In the manga issues 345-352 Sasuke, in Shippuden, kills Orochimaru and forms a team called "Snake" from Orochimaru's other test subjects such as Jugo, Karin, and Suigetsu. Then they are to go find and kill Itachi who comments on how it's going to be a storm. After Itachi’s death, Sasuke, provoked by Madara, joined Akatsuki so he can avenge the higher ups of Konoha who is the real mastermind in the extermination of the entire Uchiha clan. The team’s name “Snake” was change into “Eagle”. Sasuke claimed that he was the one using the organization and not the opposite.

2.Killua Zaoldyeak
From the anime: Hunter X Hunter
He was born in a family of assassin. Even in a very young age, he had already mastered many deadly techniques. He also became one of the greatest assassins the Zaoldyeck family had ever produced. But soon he grew tired of killing, which made him rebel against his family hurting his mother, Kikyou, and his second brother, Milluki. He doesn't look like an assassin, just a normal mischievous boy, but his other side is a ruthless killing machine bloodthirsty, and violent. Killua also shows a great endurance for things such as poisons, pain, and electrocution. He shows great agility and strength to match. Killua’s perspective in life changes when he met Gon and the others.

3.L Lawliet

L is the world's top detective who never shows his face to anyone. When he makes his debuts it's with a computer screen that reads L and a mechanical voice. When he finally does reveal himself to only a chosen few, no one was prepared for what they saw: young, a sweet lover and a person hates to wear shoes. L is a cunning detective who is very serious and hates to lose. When he starts the Kira case, he immediately begins the investigation with Light. As Light tries to prove his innocence, L gets more proof that Kira is, in fact, Light. In the movie, Lawliet write his own name in the deathnote because he perceived that Light would write his (Lawliet’s) name there eventually. However in the anime, the one who wrote L Lawliet’s name in the deathnote was Rem, Misa’s shinigami.

4.Gaara of the desert

Gaara’s debut is as an antogonist in the anime. He is a jinchuuruki containing the bijuu, Ichibi (One-tailed beast). He enjoys killing people that stand in his way (his way of having fun - he hates people and loves only himself). Long ago, when he was around the age of six, his father, the Kazekage, sent assassins to kill off Gaara because he believed Gaara was becoming too dangerous (after killing a man that passed him in the street). But the attempt failed, and later ninja's were sent...who were all killed by Gaara. However, when Gaara fought with Naruto, his point of view suddenly changes. At the shippuuden Gaara become the Kazekage wj\ho was loved and honered by all the shinobi in Sona Delete Comment

5. Lelouch Lamperouge (Lelouch Vi Britannia)
From the anime: Code Geass R1 and Code Geass R2: Lelouch of the Rebellion
Lelouch Vi Britannia is the eleventh Prince of the Holy Britannian Empire. He was seventeenth in line to Imperial throne prior to his mother's assassination (which cause his sister to be blind and crippled). After that, they were thrown away into Area 11 (formerly Japan) and acquired the surname Lamperouge. He dreamed to take revenge on the emperor of Britannia, his own father, and the Geass, which C.C. has given him, help him do his revenge faster. Hence he was known as Zero, the reveal and the leader of the Black Knight. He soon become the new Emperor, and died so that his sister will have a better place to leave in.

6. Eriol Hiiragizawa
From the anime: Card Captor Sakura
Eriol is the half reincarnation of the powerful magician Clowreed (The otherhalf was actually Fujitaka, Sakura's dad,
so does this means sakura is Eriol's half daughter? hehehe... confusing). Eriol stopped aging because he wanted to
enter the academy where Sakura is in, in order for him to help her change all the Clow cards into Sakura cards.

7. Ryoma Echizen
From the anime:Prince of Tennis
Ryoma is a young tennis player who is acknowledge by everyone as a great player. He's father is Nanjiro, a retired tennis player.
Born and raised in America, but, this arrogant kid moves to Japan and transfer in the school called Seigaku where he eventually becomes a regular tennis player.

8. Kazuki Fuchoin
From the anime: Getbackers
Kazuki is actually a male even though he looks like a girl (How I wished he was a she... sigh). He uses strings kept in the bell placed in his hair as a weapon. He was known with the alias "Prince of terror". He is the leader of Fuuga and then afterwards becomes a member of voltz, but he quitted the same time as Ginji and the others does. Afterwards, he joined Ginji and Ban and become a Getbacker.

9. Kanmuri Shigeru
From the anime: Yakitate Japan
Shigeru is genius, promising baker, who also possess the solar hands. He studied in Harvard where he become friends with Ryo Kuruyanagi. His debut was as Yukino's man, but after losing the match from Kazuma, Yukino blow out his laboratory. Realizing that Yukino is a real evil, Shigeru joined the gang in Pantesia Southern Tokyo Branch. He was the youngest son of a Yakusa leader.

10. Satoshi Hiwatari
From the anime: DN Angel
Satoshi is the youngest inspector in their town. He is really smart and cunning. He already graduated in the
University but he decided to reenter in a middle school so he could fell the normal life of a 13 year old. However, Satoshi wasn't really a normal boy because there is Krad, who shares half of his personality (Just like Daisuke and Dark). Good thing, at the end of the series, Krad dissapeared making Satoshi a real whole person.
